Stanley Cup Finals Notebook
Devils 3 Ducks 0: Probably the best final since 1994. In a mild surprise, Ducks goalie J.S. Giguere wins the Conn Smythe Trophy, becoming the first player from the team to lose in the Finals to win the trophy since Ron Hextall in 1987.

Ducks 5 Devils 2: The Devils fail to close it out.

Devils 6 Ducks 3: The Mighty Ducks came out gunning in the first period, but it was the New Jersey Devils who fiinished the job in an up-tempo game that broke the pattern set in Game One.
Pascal Rheahume celebrates his goal that tied the game at 1.

Ducks 1 Devils 0, OT: Do you believe in miracles? Now that Chris Berman has managed to predict who would score the game winning goal in Game 4, I might have to start to.
Just two days ago, Ducks fans had little to cheer for. Not anymore.

UPDATE: Eric Adelson says it's time for the Devils to get violent:
"It was a real patient game," said [Ducks head coach Mike] Babcock after Game 4. "It was like chess."
Like chess. Ducks gotta love that. And now it's time for someone over in the Devils locker room to chuck the board and scatter all the pieces.
