  1. I watched the Phillies-Braves game Fitzpatrick wrote about, and I remember thinking the exact same thing as Larry Bowa:

    “I realized the healing process had started when they booed Chipper [Jones],” Bowa said.

    Thank you for your posts today. I was listening to local sports radio this morning, and they were talking about 9/11 and their experiences that day. It’s good to be reminded that sports can be healing, despite the stereotypes of soccer hooligans and post-game riots and so on.
