The San Francisco Chronicle reported this morning that Oakland A's pitcher Tim Hudson injured himself in a late night brawl at a club in Boston on Friday night -- something that led directly to his early exit due to injury in Saturday's game against the Red Sox.
Boston Dirt Dogs (one of my new favorites), has published an email from an employee of the club who claims he attempted to break up the fight between Hudson and a local Sox fan who was giving him a hard time for partying out in Boston. The club in question is "Q" located at 25 Union Street in Boston.
Primary assist on this post to Bryant Durrell at Population One.
UPDATE: ESPN.com has some more details, including a defense of Hudson by A's manager, Ken Macha.
TUESDAY UPDATE: Hudson gives his side of the story to the Boston Globe.
