An email from the latest Buccigross at ESPN.com:
John,Living in Chicoutimi, Quebec, I do not have the pleasure to collect autographs, but in the summer, I work at the local cemetery, digging holes and mowing the grass. I have a special section that is reserved to me (we are five guys working there). Every week, I'm the guy who passes the lawn mower over George Vezina's body and around his tombstone. Doing this is the thing that brings me more satisfaction than anything during the summer. There is a kind of magic hanging over George's 12x12 field. Sorry for my English, I'm a French guy wearing a visor.

Heartwarming, with the best comeback to Don Cherry I've seen so far.

Anyone else remember the story about how Vezina started out as the goalie for a local union team when the Canadiens came through on a barnstorming tour… He shut them out and was picked up by the team immediately… Still, I agree with Gretzky on the greatest player all-time: Tretiak.
