Housekeeping Note

What once occupied this space was a report, that quite frankly, didn't have any credibility at all. I shouldn't have linked to it in the first place. In short, I was had, probably too willing to be had. It won't happen again.

My apologies to my readers, and to Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, who have enough garbage to put up with without me peddling somebody else's trash.

Sorry, I just don’t buy it right now. If there was even a hint of truth to it you’d see it plastered on the back page of the Post.

  2. Does your friend happen to flack for Radar? What vodkafish said. Are you gonna seriously expect me to believe the guys from the Post, Daily News, ESPN, WFAN–who all would have been in the clubhouse along with this unnamed yutz–would sit on this story? And that the leaker’s first place to drop a dime like that if he somehow was the only witness would be a low rent, barely known about, most people never heard of dump like Radar?

Step away from the crack pipe, friend. It’s pure BS.

Housekeeping Note

I've closed the comment string attached to this week's post on Danica Patrick. For those of you who have been following Ted's discussion with Jim McCarthy regarding Jim's account of the way Title IX was highlighted at a previous WNBA All-Star Game, you have my word that I will devote plenty of space to Jim's answer, as well as any other comments I recieve.

I'll have more on why I've taken this action later.

went to a game last night.

Christian rock band sang the national anthem and played a concert on the floor after the game. Feature with one of the players (Vanessa Hayden) on the scoreboard talking about how her pre-game ritual consists of calling her mom, going to chapel, and praying.

    No talk of gender equity.

    Home team won.
