Time To End The Kyle Boller Experiment

How many chances does Kyle Boller deserve?

The Baltimore Ravens can't win when they play without inspiration or determination. They don't stand a chance when Kyle Boller commits three turnovers in the opening 18 minutes, or when the defense and punting unit both yield long touchdowns.

(snip)

Newcomer Derrick Mason caught four passes for 29 yards, but his contribution wasn't enough to overcome Boller's mistakes, which included two interceptions and a fumble.

"Hopefully everything will work out," Mason said. "Kyle's working hard, he's doing some good things, but I think we have to get into a rhythm as an offense. Kyle's going to be all right. He just needs to calm down a little bit. A couple of times he got pressured and tried to get the ball out quickly, but with guys on your back, it's hard to do that."

Boller has two games left to get it right. So do the Ravens.

Ravens coach Brian Billick should cut his losses now, and just give the ball to backup Anthony Wright. Despite all of Billick's prowess as an offensive genius, the Ravens will never win with offense, and at least Wright won't make any stupid mistakes.
