I’d Be Worried If I Were Mike Tice…

Just when you thought politicians were the only one who had to worry about approval ratings, ESPN.com's Sportsnation has gotten into the act with a decidedly unscientific approach to rating pro football coaches.

Some highlights:

Marvin Lewis comes in at #1 after leading the Bengals to a pair of victories. He's joined at the top by Bill Cowher, Lovie Smith, Dick Vermiel, John Gruden, Romeo Crennel, John Fox and Tony Dungy.

Bill Belichik of the defending Super Bowl champs is #19, which I guess means Pats Nation is getting pretty nervous (something Bill Simmons foreshadowed not long ago).

Bringing up the rear: Mike Martz (but he's trending up from Week One), Brian Bilick, Mike Sherman, Dom Capers and our favorite anchor man, Mike Tice.
