And if you're a New York Jets fan today, stop by for a group hug at The Jets Blog from Brian Bassett.
After yesterday's 27-7 shellacking at the hands of Kansas City, Brian claims that it isn't time to push the panic button yet:
Whatever you do, do not hit this button. There might be a time, and there might be a place, but hitting this button at this point in time is severely premature and can cause irrepairable damage if used.Normally I am ready to give some analysis of aspects after a game, even after a loss. But after today's game, I wouldn't even know where to start...
In all seriousness was the game an absoulute shambolic travesty?
You had better believe it.
Thankfully, I was watching at home, and was spared any actual video evidence of the "absolute shambolic travesty" as my local CBS affiliate was broadcasting the Titan and Steelers. And thank God for that, because I probably would have thrown a clot if I had actually watched the game.
As for the panic button, I never push it with the Jets. Instead, I just wait for the bottom to inevitably drop out. For the most part, it's just a matter of how quickly it happens.
