This is a trend that I can't help but continue to applaud. First we had a game between Michigan and Michigan State at Spartan Stadium in 2001. Then we had one of the most magical days of hockey in Edmonton with the Heritage Classic. Now comes word that Boston College is considering playing an outdoor game at Fenway Park.
Now if we could just get the Rangers to play the Islanders in Central Park...
I was at the MSU-Michigan game back in 2001, and it was incredible to see college hockey in that setting, in front of 72,000 fans. Fantastic experience, and I’m sure the game at Lambeau will match it.
