Originally, this week's poll was going to ask who the biggest diver in the NHL was, but I didn't get enough nominations to fill the field. So, instead, after reading this post from James Mirtle from over the weekend, I have to ask: Now that we're in the home stretch on the NHL season, who's tops in the MVP race?
Here are my nominees:
Jaromir Jagr
Joe Thornton
Eric Staal
Dany Heatley
Alexander Ovechkin
Miikka Kiprusoff
Tomas Voukoun
You'll remember that Hockey Dirt held a mid-season mega poll, and back then, the list of MVP nominees was a little different. And if you have any other nominees, send them in, and I'll add them.
As always, feel free to copy and paste the code that you'll find here, and use it on your own blog too.

As much as, being a Preds fan, I would like to say Vokoun, I think that it would be unfair to say he doesn’t have a quality team in front of him, particularly offensively. He’s also got some quality D in Timonen, Hamhuis, etc. But damn, he’s a good goaltender. I guess it all depends on how he goes come playoff time.
My pick would have to be Ovechkin, surprisingly enough: without him, Washington would have nothing at all, and if that doesn’t make him valuable, then nothing does.
