Now that Danica Patrick has played the whole world in regards to her intention of joining NASCAR, she's letting the press (and bloggers like me) know that she's done using them:
"I really feel that if you want to win Indy, you need to be in IndyCar," she told ESPN in an interview aired before the start of the Firestone Indy 200."Having been there and having done so well, I know what that single race can do for you in your whole life. Since one of my goals is to win that race, I don't believe I can be anywhere else but IndyCar."
In other words, we all let the prospect of a woman joining the NASCAR circuit blind us to the fact that she was just using the press to get as much money as possible out of her current employer, Rahal-Letterman Racing.

Eric, not sure you have that expression right:
Fool me once
