Like any American, I want to see the City of New Orleans get back on its feet. Unfortunately, the city seems to be cursed with the sort of political leadership that's determined to keep it flat on its back.
For example, the domain name bringneworleansback.org -- which ought to get us to information on the effort to "Bring New Orleans Back" -- points to a secure payment page for the Dallas Junior Hockey Association. And if the brainiacs at the Big Easy ever figure out their screw-up, be sure to go here, where the mistake has been immortalized for all time via a screen capture.
Thanks to the National Organization of Manufacturers for uncovering this interesting example of government incompetence.

are you serious? new orleans needing hockey? first off, hockey in the south is a joke to begin with (how does atlanta do? florida is another known for packing them in)
after everything that happened in the new orleans area. hockey, should be one of the last things this city needs. They ‘have’ the NBA Hornets, but down the road will leave New Orleans and likely go to Oklahoma City. I can think of a number of cities that would be adequate places to call hockey teams their own and New Orleans isn’t one of them.
It does, actually, send you to information on “bringing back New Orleans”. Um … kind of.
http://www.bringneworleansback.org/
Your URL has a period after “.org”, which for some inexplicable reason sends people to that website on Dallas Junior Hockey. I can’t imagine why, either.
As for the above commentor … go rant and rave about the evils of “southern hockey” elsewhere.

Don’t tell me–Flyers fan? Sabres fan? Oooh, wait, I know–Habs fan, right?
