As frustrating as it was to see Team USA fall to Canada in the semifinals, I'm cheered when I realize the gap between the U.S. and Canada in ice hockey is closing. The result is the best rivalry in international hockey. And while the Americans are playing the role of the underdog right now, it won't always be that way.
