Rob Hisey Highlights

While looking for a video of Rob Hisey's spinarama goal from a few years ago, I also found another stellar goal of his from the Finnish Hockey League. A prolific scorer, Hisey has recorded what may be two of the best goals ever seen in hockey.

The first goal has been performed by several other players. The interesting thing about Hisey's goal is that he never stops and sets up behind the net before attempting the shot. He simply slows as he circles behind the net and flips the puck on his stick and into the top corner of the net without stopping.

This is possibly the greatest goal I've ever seen in hockey. Again, while several players have scored on between the leg shots, Hisey takes it one step further. He gets the puck on his stick, does a 360, and whips the puck into the net past the goalie. All I want to know is do they teach goalies how to stop that?

Although able to make highlight-reel goals, it seems like Hisey doesn't have what it takes to play in the NHL. After several years in the OHL and a year in the Finnish Hockey League, Hisey is now playing for the Hannover Scorpions of the German Elite League. I wonder what kind of show he would have put on in the states.
