Had some interesting reactions to word that the league was considering revamping the scoring system again, this time to award 3 points for a win, 2 for an OT/SO win and 1 for an OT/SO loss.

Ties are no longer possible in the NHL, so stop rewarding losers and get rid of that extra point. Maybe teams will stop playing for the tie in the waning minutes of a game and actually try to take the lead...
The OTL has been killing me since the Caps clinched a playoff spot with one after an OT loss to Pittsburgh. It still makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it.
