I just saw the news that Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino have agreed to appear in a movie together for only the third time in their careers.
The first time was The Godfather Part II, where DeNiro portrayed a young Don Corleone, while Pacino reprised his role from The Godfather as Michael -- which meant the two never shared a scene.
The next time they were together was for 1995's HEAT, which I'll always remember for the following scene:
The first thing I did after hooking up my surround sound system was watch the DVD version of HEAT with the volume cranked all the way to 11 just for that scene. Credit director Michael Mann for putting together the best running gun battle in movie history.

I did the same thing with my system using “Apocalypse Now” and the helicopter attack on the village scene. I almost blew out my back channel speakers when the napalm blew up! Too cool!
