Through my friend Dmitry Chesnokov, we've received news that Alex Ovechkin has started to blog -- in Russian.
It's interesting that he's chosen to use Live Journal. Of all the blogging engines out there, LJ has the best foothold in Russia, so I guess it only made sense.
In the meantime, everybody fire up Google Translator!


Looks like a bunch of Russian players/sports figures are blogging on that site (Kommersant.ru) as a group, including national team coach Vyacheslav Bykov, and Alexei Kovalev.
Ah, the site is Championat.ru, not Kommersant.ru (I made a mental error).
Bookmarking. The more Russian hockey resources I can get my hands on, the better. This is how I retain my minimal language skills during the summer. =)
